Black Rose Records is building a new era of music across all genres and viral storytelling. As a Digital Strategy Intern in our Creative Ops Division & Adult Experiential Division, you’ll help lead the charge in digital content creation, audience engagement, and campaign innovation for both SFW and NSFW content tied to our flagship artist Troy Alexander (legal name: Titus P. Jasper) — spanning music, visuals, short films, dance reels, adult-facing digital campaigns, and branded rollouts.
You’ll work closely with our lead flagship artist, founder, and CEO, Troy Alexander, and the core BRR leadership team to craft viral digital experiences that define the label’s creative identity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and rolling out music-related digital campaigns (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Research trends in music marketing, viral content formulas, and short-form storytelling
• Help create and curate content calendars, post copy, and visual strategy for both SFW and NSFW verticals
• Monitor analytics and engagement across platforms, offering insights and optimizations
• Contribute to campaign brainstorms, social experiments, and influencer collaborations
• Participate in bi-weekly team meetings and planning sessions (remote or hybrid)
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in music, entertainment, or digital media
• Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Millennial and Gen Z cultural markets
• Creativity, adaptability, and a proactive, start-up mindset
• Strong written communication and visual storytelling skills
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools is a plus
• Ability to commit 5–10 hours per week; flexible schedule
• No degree required — just ambition, energy, and execution
• Comfort working with adult-oriented creative direction (NSFW content is handled respectfully and professionally as part of our lifestyle branding division)
Compensation:
• This is an unpaid internship during the startup phase
• Interns will receive:
• Affiliate links to earn 10% commission on merch and product placements
• Back-end royalties/residuals on select campaigns (especially animated web series and digital assets)
• Equity-based incentives and first consideration for paid roles post-funding
• Real-time case studies, resume credit, and referrals from executive leadership
