What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Office Assistant - In Person - Part-Time position at Impact Business Technology?

We are seeking a Part-Time General Office Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, shredding, and data entry
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence
  • Process and deposit incoming paper checks
  • Assist staff and visitors with basic inquiries and requests
  • Additional tasks as needed File, scan, and organize physical and digital documents
  • Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets and databases
  • Prepare reports and documents
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Keep communal areas clean and organized
  • Assist with bookkeeping or other financial tasks if needed
  • Provide general assistance to other departments or staff
  • Help with office events and employee activities
  • Assist new employees with administrative setup

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and pride in the work you do
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, data entry)
  • Intermediate Excel level preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new software/systems at a reasonable pace
