Manufacturing Environment | Plant Leadership Role | 450 Employee Facility
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations within a large manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on plant HR leadership role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with operations leaders, supporting hourly teams, and driving initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational performance.
The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing HR experience, with the ability to balance strategic partnership with day-to-day HR execution in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day HR operations for a large manufacturing facility
- Partner with plant leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and business needs
- Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
- Manage HR processes including performance management, compensation, benefits coordination, and workforce reporting
- Lead employee investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution efforts
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive, high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Utilize HR metrics and data to support business decisions and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting large manufacturing workforces, preferably 400 employees
- Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR operations
- Experience partnering with plant leadership and production teams
- Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $115,000 - $150,000
