Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting & Integration Specialist to join their corporate finance team based in Pontiac, MI. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in post-merger integration and consolidation efforts for a global manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support finance integration projects following a recent merger.
- Align accounting policies and practices across entities, focusing on:
- Foreign currency remeasurement
- Consolidation entries and elimination adjustments
- IFRS reporting requirements
- Collaborate with operational finance teams to improve plant-level accounting and reporting.
- Contribute to the enhancement and effective use of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Participate in cross-functional finance initiatives, including:
- Updates to accounting policy documentation
- Coordination with external auditors for statutory reporting
- Support for restructuring and entity rationalization efforts
- Assist with ongoing close and reporting activities, including:
- Intercompany reconciliation and profit eliminations
- Centralized journal entries and consolidation adjustments
- Credit loss and accounts receivable analysis
- Month-end and quarter-end close process coordination
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a global organization or helping global clients
- 3 years of consolidations experience
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS;
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional finance projects and process improvements.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience with global consolidations and intercompany accounting.
- Experience in public accounting
- CPA or equivalent international accounting designation strongly preferred.
- Experience in multinational or manufacturing organizations.
- Familiarity with internal controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.

Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
