What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Machine Operator position at iMPact Business Group?
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Machine Operator for a 12-month contract. Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day! HOURS ARE: 1pm to 7am Sunday thru Thursday night
Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product.
- Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line.
- Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
- Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.
- The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making.
- Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic.
- The tasks are generally routine and manual. The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations.
- Typically requires selecting between solutions already established.
- 2 years past work experience
- Minimum High School GED or Diploma required
