Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Process Controls Engineer for a 12 Month Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions to document work. Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specificationsJob will require regulated industry experience and preferred medical device experience. Self Motivation and task management is expected Experience with PPAP, process validation, process development Program Management experience is an asset Project is electro-mechanical with embedded software - experience in these types of projects is required.Supply / Vendor Management will be a key responsibilityWhat you needBachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related subject required.Master's Degree in science or engineering preferred Minimum of 5 years' experience in the area of quality process working closely with external vendors procuring parts and ensuring those parts meet specifications.Minimum of 4 years' experience in regulated environment (medical devices, automotive or aerospace) highly preferred. Strong knowledge and understanding of pFMEA, Risk Analysis and Process Control Plans is required.
Salary : $80,000 - $125,000
