Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven person to lead and manage our Maintenance Team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual will oversee all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance with strong emphasis on Preventative Maintenance and OEE. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, technical machinery and facility maintenance expertise, promotes a culture of safety, and has implemented electronic Preventative Maintenance systems.

Responsibilities:
· Serve on the manufacturing leadership team by providing strategic input and working cross functionally with production and planning departments to maximize team results.
· Lead and manage the Maintenance Department including preventive maintenance, equipment repair, facilities maintenance, spare parts storage, ordering spare parts, team supervision, team development, hiring, and team performance management. Maintenance Department includes 19 team members.
· Develop maintenance metrics, goals, and processes that promote safety and maximize OEE throughout operations.
· Attend production daily huddles and represent the maintenance team across the organization. Lead the maintenance daily huddles and shift change meetings.
· Improve and develop an electronic Preventative Maintenance system including spare parts inventory, work orders, and machine service life monitoring.
· Conduct regular audits of the facility and equipment to ensure safety, production, and maintenance standards are being met.
· Maintain relationships with key maintenance vendors and contractors to ensure the best performance, responsiveness, and pricing.
· Create and negotiate pricing with vendors and contractors on maintenance projects.
· Manage and forecast the maintenance budget including spare parts, consumables, repairs, vendors, and contractors.
· Ensure maintenance documents are maintained including building key access, lock out tag out, preventative maintenance logs, and repair logs.
· Maintain seamless handoffs with the engineering team ensuring documentation and training is performed on all equipment changes and installations.
· Develop maintenance team members to cover all shifts and ensure decision making can proceed during 2nd shift and weekend shifts.
· Track and drive training for all maintenance staff for continuous learning and development.
· Other jobs or duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field – OR – equivalent experience in manufacturing maintenance leadership.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
· Proven experience leading and developing teams of 5 or more people.
· Strong problem-solving skills and experience working cross functionally.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze data, use the ERP extensively, and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
· Experience developing and working in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit/stand/walk in a factory/warehouse environment for most of the day.
· Ability to work on a computer and office environment for extended periods.
· Ability to travel on an occasion for trainings, workshops, or seminars.
· Ability to wear appropriate PPE when working in the manufacturing facility.
