Job Title: Blending Supervisor
Location: Spring Grove Facility
Department: Blending
Reports To: Blending Manager
Summary: The Blending Supervisor leads the Spring Grove Blending Team in executing Impact Beverage’s blending operations with precision, safety, and consistency. This position is responsible for supporting production goals, maintaining SOPs, driving team training and performance, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met. The Blending Supervisor works collaboratively with their counterpart Supervisor and reports directly to the Blending Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight
- Serve as the daily subject matter expert for all blending operations.
- Lead the Blending Team in day-to-day activities, including batching, carbonation, sampling, documentation, and cleaning.
- Actively participate in daily leadership SQDIP meetings and lead the blending team’s SQDIP board.
- Monitor performance, enforce accountability, and identify training gaps or performance issues.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all documentation and batch records are completed accurately and on time.
- Work with the QA/QC team to ensure proper data collection and implementation of new quality protocols.
- Enforce adherence to food safety, alcohol compliance, and sanitation policies.
- Assist with the development and implementation of SOPs, standards of work, and blending policies.
Production Coordination
- Collaborate with the Blending Manager and Packaging Supervisors to review and execute the production schedule.
- Evaluate resource needs and communicate scheduling adjustments when necessary.
- Coordinate raw material transfers and usage with the Warehouse and Packaging Leads.
- Assist the Blending Manager with communication to suppliers, customers, and technicians as needed.
Operational Duties
- Perform hands-on blending work, including:
- Bulk blending, carbonation, filtration, sampling, and tank CIP.
- Material staging and product transfers.
- Operating equipment (centrifuge, pumps, filters, etc.).
- Cleaning and sanitation of tanks, lines, and blending areas.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and walk-behind lifts safely.
- Report mechanical issues to the Maintenance team and Blending Manager.
- Support other areas of production as needed (cross-training encouraged)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience leading or supervising a production or blending team.
- Strong knowledge of SOP development, implementation, and training.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in coordinating production schedules and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and consideration for accuracy
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 165 lbs.
- Stand, crouch, and climb ladders regularly; work in confined spaces and at height.
- Perform repetitive motions and manual tasks for extended periods
- Wear appropriate PPE for blending, cleaning, and lifting tasks

- Willingness to work flexible hours as production demands require.
- Support cross-training across departments to maintain flexibility in operations.
