Position: X-Ray Technologist

Reports to: Practice Operations Manager
Summary: We are actively seeking full time X-Ray Technologists to serve a brand-new Urgent Care center in Warren, NJ. This position is responsible for effectively and efficiently capturing diagnostic images of patients with a variety of acute injuries and illnesses. Will be responsible for triaging patients and providing additional support to the practice as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
· Offer compassionate support to patients and their caregivers during the time of their urgent medical need/crisis
· Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures
· Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date QC book
· Assist other staff members (Medical Assistants, Front Desk Associates, Providers) as needed
· All other duties as assigned by Practice Manager or Practice Administrator
Requirements
Additional Requirements:
• Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Available to work evenings and weekends, in a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts
• Ability to maintain professionalism and provide quality care in a fast-paced, public environment
Salary : $37 - $40
