We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care. Responsibilities
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide basic health and safety care, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom or play area in accordance with childcare standards.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect promptly.
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster positive social interactions.
- Comply with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and childcare policies.
Skills (Not necessary, but beneficial--will provide training as needed)
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures.
- Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment.
- Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as babysitting or daycare center work is highly desirable.
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.
