Summary:
Provides support and supervises all activities related to the front office operations of Financial Aid. Supervises all Financial Aid Work study students. Coordinates various office projects as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid. Supervises the daily workflow within the office while giving superior customer service to students and or parents as they walk-in or call. This position reports directly to the Director of Financial Aid.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direction for work study students, customer service for walk-ins and phone contacts, maintain file rosters and perform electronic data exchanges as needed. Supervise the student workers and front office within the Financial Aid Office.

Provides Administrative Support Services
- Pay and reconcile all invoices for the department.
- Track all documents (tax forms, etc.) received in the Banner System.
- Upload loan response files (control report lists for all records loaded ? errors & adjustments).
- Extract loan request applications.
- Assist in the development of comprehensive audit programs for the Financial Aid Office
- Work in both Banner and Slate
- Assemble Financial Aid Packets for prospective CUS students, approximately 1,200 a year.
- Purge obsolete student files (ongoing).
- Special Project Assignments
- Events coordinator for all financial aid events (open houses, workshops) on and off campus.
- Schedule Counselor appointments on days set aside for Financial Aid meetings.
- Prepare incoming files for data load, resolve issues regarding suspended records maintenance and load ISIR records to production data base.
- Supervise the daily workflow within the Financial Aid Office and between the various offices that interact with the Financial Aid Office.

Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of the BANNER system and Slate
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Good organizational and planning skill.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
