Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Vision and Strategy: Own the UX research vision and strategy across IMDb businesses and products, ensuring these insights drive intuitive, elegant, and scalable customer experiences
- Advanced Research Methods: Independently design and lead quantitative and qualitative research projects, including survey design, statistical analysis, and behavioral analytics
- User Segmentation: Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to our customer audiences
- Data Synthesis and Storytelling: Triangulate research insights with engagement metrics to create compelling narratives that drive product improvements and business strategy
- Research Synthesis and Integration: Synthesize findings from research work streams to identify patterns and opportunities across the fan and professional experiences.
- AI-focused Research: Set the bar for AI-focused user research by developing and adapting methodologies to understand how customers interact with AI systems, building trust and driving adoption
- Stakeholder Influence: Build mechanisms for regularly communicating insights and influence decision-makers at all levels to act on research findings, driving customer delight and business objectives

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience
- 5 years of hands-on work with: field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design experience
- Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
- Experience with field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design
- Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
- Experience with behavioral data collection, quantitative data analysis, and statistics
- Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas)
- Master's degree in Human Factors, HCDE, Cognitive Psychology or equivalent
- Experience in a technical field (software development, network development, IT, other related)
- Experience with UX Research in non-US markets
- Experience working in a highly Agile/Scrum environment
