Position Summary
The University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend Campus is seeking a Strategic Marketing Coordinator to develop, implement, and manage marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, support organizational growth, and engage patients, providers, and the local community. This position is responsible for executing both digital and traditional marketing strategies, coordinating campaigns and events, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote healthcare services and organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Create, coordinate, and distribute marketing materials, promotional content, and communications.
- Manage online marketing initiatives, including website updates, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Coordinate community outreach, special events, and promotional activities, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Collaborate with leadership, clinical departments, and external partners to support strategic marketing objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards and organizational messaging.
- Support market research, competitive analysis, and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional marketing experience.
- Experience developing and executing both online and offline marketing strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
Schedule
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Evening and weekend hours required as needed for community events and organizational activities.
- Holiday work is generally not required unless supporting scheduled events.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $60,000 – $90,000, based on education and experience.
