We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician I for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity at The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, KS!
Position Details:
- Location: Kansas City, KS
- Pay Rate: $25/hour
- Contract: 13 weeks, Temp-to-Perm
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
- Experience: 1–3 years of IT experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, install, configure, and upgrade computer equipment.
- Provide desktop support and resolve technical issues.
- Document service tickets and meet established SLAs.
- Assist end users with basic technical training.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Microsoft Windows certification or willingness to obtain it within the first 6 months.
- Desktop support experience preferred.
- Recent graduates with an associate degree in computer systems or a related field are welcome to apply.
