Job Title: Certified Home Health / Hospice Aide (CHHA)
Location: Newport Beach, CA (Field-based – patient homes)
Duration: 13-week contract (starting April 27, 2026)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Job Summary:
Provides personal care and comfort support to patients in their homes, including those receiving hospice care. Works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support feeding, mobility, and daily living activities
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain a safe and clean home care environment
Required Qualifications:
• Active CHHA Certification (California)
• Current BLS Certification
• Registered on the CA Home Care Aide Registry
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable working with hospice/end-of-life patients
Additional Details:
• Travel required between patient homes
• Equipment provided during training/orientation
