Imagine Early Education and Childcare is hiring for the position of Receptionist - Part Time in Oklahoma City, OK.

Qualifications:

The Receptionist’s qualifications must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience as well as:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Excellent ability to multi-task

- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills

- Experience with multi-line phone systems

- Knowledgeable in Microsoft, Word, Excel and Publisher software programs.

- Strong typing ability

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong customer service skills

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills

- Friendly and approachable demeanor

- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude and work ethic always

- Embraces a “teamwork” approach

Job Summary:

- The receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately, and notifies company personnel of visitors' arrival. You will serve all current and prospective families by routing incoming calls to the appropriate team member within the sales office or specific campus location. You will inform visitors and prospective families by answering or referring inquiries in person or by phone. Learn to operate and maintain the telecommunication system, business email, calendar, social media, as well as other various computer systems that aid in the sales and customer service process. Keep a safe, clean, and organized reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. And finally, the Receptionist will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks

- Maintain effective communication with parents, prospective families, and colleagues.

- Maintain professional conduct when working with or speaking to parents and prospective families.

- Assist colleagues with administrative tasks.

- Escalate any grievance that is received to the appropriate member of management.

- Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families.

- Organize files, records, and other forms of documentation as needed.

- Foster a positive work environment by modeling appropriate and professional behavior at all times.

- Maintain proper attendance according to company standards and requirements.

Physical Requirements

- The ability to sit for extended periods of time.

- The ability to answer multiple phone lines and perform multiple tasks at once, as needed.

- The ability to bend, kneel, and carry various office items as needed.
