Job Overview
Hiring teacher assistants to join our team! Working with children ages 3 months-5 years old in various classrooms. Experience in an Early Childhood center preferred. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be personable, nurturing, energetic and work well as part of a team. Looking for someone that has open availability and can be flexible with hours when needed. Part time and full time hours available.

Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through attentive caregiving and interaction
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times
- Help manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment
- Provide basic first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies or health concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Completion of 24 hours of professional development each year
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and children
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
