Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM

A day in the life
You clock in for the afternoon shift and scan your work orders. Preventive tasks come first—lubricating, inspecting, and documenting. Mid-shift, a line stops: you diagnose the fault through schematics, trace a pneumatic issue, swap a sensor, and tweak PLC logic to bring production back online. You close the day by updating logs, ordering parts, tidying your area, and briefing production and management on the status of key assets.

What you’ll do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and supporting systems.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines to maximize equipment reliability.
- Create, maintain, and follow SOPs and JSAs to standardize safe work practices.
- Program and adjust PLCs as needed to support operations and resolve faults.
- Complete daily maintenance and repair logs with clear, accurate documentation.
- Partner with Production Associates and Management to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
- Maintain and secure tools; keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Provide training to peers or operators when requested.
- Order tools and inventory parts for machinery maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Background (education or experience) in one or more of: Electrical systems; Mechanical systems; Hydraulic & pneumatic systems; Plumbing; Carpentry; HVAC; Welding; Piping systems; PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred).
- Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Reliable, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.
- Typical manufacturing environment.
- Frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds.
- Regular use of safety equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and work boots.
