Job Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting all job paperwork, drawings, color specifications, and instructions fully and accurately before and during production
- Mixing and applying paint according to job specifications and company quality standards
- Painting channel letters, cabinets, raceways, backers, panels, and other sign components using proper spray techniques
- Ensuring proper color match, coverage, finish consistency, and overall appearance of painted products
- Inspecting painted parts for defects such as runs, dry spray, contamination, uneven coverage, or damage
- Identifying and correcting paint defects prior to release to the next production stage
- Maintaining paint guns, spray equipment, booths, and related tools in proper working condition
- Following proper handling and storage procedures for paints, thinners, and hazardous materials
- Minimizing material waste and rework through attention to detail and proper paint application techniques
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Following all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental procedures
