Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our team in an on-site role at our Memphis, TN location. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll taxes and employee benefits, handling garnishments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role also involves maintaining accurate payroll records, resolving payroll discrepancies, and collaborating with the accounting team on payroll-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Payroll Administration, including processing payroll and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with Employee Benefits management, including benefits deductions and contributions
- Understanding of accounting principles and experience working with payroll in coordination with accounting functions
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information
- Previous experience with payroll in the construction or industrial sector is a plus
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
