Job Summary
We are Seeking for Millwork Design Engineer with strong design/manufacturing background in solid wood furniture and construct 3D solid models of furniture elements using CAD software. Coordinate millwork operations to manufacture the furniture parts using state-of-the-art CNC machinery as well as traditional wood-working machinery includes solid wood chairs, stools, tabletops, and soft seating. For our vertically integrated manufacturing process, from raw lumber to finishing.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Design Engineering, with hands-on involvement in furniture design.
- Strong 3D CAD design experience using Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion, and/or SolidWorks.
- Strong experience with CNC programming, CNC code development, and post-processors for different CNC machines.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup, including:
- Jigs and fixtures
- Molds
- Strong knowledge of solid wood furniture and millwork manufacturing operations, including:
- Lumber selection and preparation
- Sizing
- Ripping
- Cross cutting
- Other wood machining and fabrication processes
- Experience coordinating CAD/design through production, guiding machine operators, and taking in-plant measurements.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
