Job Summary

         We are Seeking a full-time Experienced Trust & Estates Professional As an independent CPA firm with a 100-year history, they focus on providing personalized tax and accounting services to closely held private businesses and their owners. This position offers a partnership track for interested candidates and provides competitive benefits, including hybrid scheduling flexibility outside of busy season.

Job Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expertise: Initially serve as, or develop into, the firm''''''''''''''''s primary authority on the taxation of trusts and estates.

• Client Management: Work directly with the firm''''''''''''''''s clients to handle tax planning and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience specifically preparing and reviewing income tax returns.

• Domain Expertise: A strong, proven understanding of trust and estate tax returns.

• Tax Law Knowledge: Deep understanding of recent Federal and Illinois tax laws impacting individuals as well as closely held businesses (specifically S Corporations and Partnerships).
