JOB SUMMARY:

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organization's facilities. This includes coordinating maintenance activities, managing service contracts, and overseeing the day-to-day operations to maintain a safe and well-functioning environment. In the immediate the Facility Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities related to the construction of a new building. This role involves working closely with contractors, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications, and addressing on-site challenges to ensure successful project completion.

PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform tests, diagnostics (troubleshooting), maintenance (including preventative), repairs and inspections on company facilities and/or equipment.

2. Manage maintenance schedule of facility.

3. Interface with outside contractors and a vast array of internal clients

4. Arrange for third party training or provide training as needed.

5. Ability to startup/shutdown facility utility equipment including a steam boiler and clean steam generator.

6. Comply with OSHA and other local, state and federal regulations.

7. Respond to emergency and after-hours situations to ensure employee and facility safety.

8. Support the Company’s 5S program in an effort to main work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.

9. Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, working manner.

10. Be part of the design team for any facility expansion or construction projects, taking the lead and providing input when needed.

11. Take pro-active approach on facility expansion or construction projects.

12. Adhere to all safety requirements and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment

13. Coordinate work with other departments.

14. Support and or perform soft services associated with outdoor snow handling, lawn and landscaping, waste management and janitorial, pest control.

15. Other duties as deemed necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma and Trade School Certificate along with 5-6 years related work experience or an associate degree in an engineering discipline with 4 years related work experience.

2. High degree of mechanical aptitude

3. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

4. Maintains a working knowledge and stays current on operations of new systems such as HVAC/R, fire alarms, electrical motors, boilers, RO Systems, chilled water systems, plumbing systems, wiring practices, etc.

5. Must have excellent troubleshooting / problem solving skills.

6. Proficient computer skills including OFFICE suite of products and Maintenance software such as Fiix, Maintain X, Upkeep or CMMS.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

1. Domestic and International travel as required.

2. Overtime and shift work as required.

3. Physical Presence on site needed.

4. May be required to possess a license/certification in accordance with state or local regulations.

5. Valid Driver's License

6. Work at heights and in tight quarters, climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.

7. Able to work in outside weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
