What are the responsibilities and job description for the DOTD Certified Inspector position at ILSI Engineering?
ILSI ENGINEERING is seeking Certifed DOTD Construction Field Inspectors to oversee road and bridge projects throughout Lake Charles and the Greater New Orleans area.
Job Responsibilities: Reviewing site conditions, observing contractor compliance with plans and specifications, measuring quantities of work, and recording activities in field books and computer-based daily logs.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of road or bridge construction experience. Preferred candidates have prior experience with Lake Charles, or City of New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, with LADOTD specifications.
- Certifications: While certification is a major asset, the ad specifically prefers candidates holding a Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor certification with a Flagger card, as well as ProCore experience
- DOTD certifications from Embankment and Base Course, Asphalt Pavement, Portland Concrete Pavement, Structural Concrete and Asphalt Plant certifications.
Pay: $25.06 - $31.00 per hour
