Crafter and Content Creator

PURPOSE

iLoveToCreate, home to beloved craft brands such as Tulip, Aleene's, ColorShot, Scribbles, and Puffy, is looking for a Crafter and Content Creator to bring our brands to life through inspired making and authentic social content. The ideal candidate is a genuine maker with a pulse on culture and a natural eye for what's next. You'll concept and create original craft projects across our brand portfolio while capturing the kind of phone-native content that stops a scroll and inspires the next generation of crafters.

PAY

$25 - 28/hour

POSITION ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING KEY RESULTS 

Making & Creative Projects

• Develop original craft projects across iLoveToCreate's brand portfolio, including Tulip, Aleene's, ColorShot, Scribbles, and Puffy.
• Bring a generalist maker / crafter skillset, working comfortably across fabric, paint, color, and mixed media.
• Translate seasonal moments, trends, and brand initiatives into tangible, inspiring projects.
• Collaborate with fellow Creators, Artists, and Photographers to support full project shoots and campaign needs.
• Stay ahead of craft trends, aesthetics, and techniques relevant the crafter and hobbyist audience.
• Able to effectively manage multiple creative projects simultaneously. 

Social Content Creation

• Concept and capture original, phone-native content built around your own craft projects and creative process.
• Create content that feels authentic, aspirational, and on-trend across platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Bring your own creative voice and aesthetic to content while staying aligned with brand direction.
• Willing and able to appear on camera for live-selling and photo/video content and comfortable speaking and presenting on camera. 
• Partner with the Social Media team to ensure content supports broader platform strategy without losing its authenticity.
• Collaborate with influencers and external creators to stay plugged into the wider craft and maker community.

Scope & Focus

This role owns original craft project development and phone-native social content creation that keeps iLoveToCreate inspiring and relevant to the next generation of makers. This role does not include social media strategy, professional photography, or influencer management.

WHAT YOU BRING (ON-SITE POSITION)

• A genuine passion for making - you craft because you love it.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility with a natural eye for color, composition, and what resonates on a phone screen.
• Comfort creating short-form video content natively on a phone across TikTok, Reels, and similar platforms.
• Deep awareness of social trends, creative culture, and the hobbyist maker community.
• Collaborative and communicative-  able to work cross-functionally with creatives, photographers, social teams, and influencers.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A portfolio, social presence, or camera roll that shows your style (encouraged, not required).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach above/ below shoulder level.
• Occasionally required to lift/carry/push up to 40 lbs, repetitively use both hands/arms/shoulders, forward bending/stooping and light grasping and fine dexterity of both hands. Ability to participate in a team lift for any lifting necessary over 40 lbs.
