- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 7 years of experience in heavy equipment design
- 3 years of leadership or people management experience
- Strong proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Solid knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and applicable engineering/safety standards

- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering staff, supervisors, fabricators, and installers
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and safety-focused work environment
- Allocate resources and manage priorities to meet operational and project goals
- Oversee the design, specification, and modernization of heavy equipment
- Ensure all designs meet OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable regulatory standards
- Manage full lifecycle projects including fabrication, installation, and upgrades
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth execution
- Partner with the Sales Manager to review completed projects and improve quoting accuracy, design efficiency, and installation outcomes
- Develop preventive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement reliability best practices to reduce downtime
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and company safety policies
- Drive innovation in heavy equipment design and automation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiency improvements
