Department Head - Electrical Mission Critical

Boston, MA (Hybrid) | $250K to $300K | Relocation available

Set the technical direction for power design on hyperscale and AI data centers, from 30 MW buildings to full campuses with their own substations.

Must-Haves

• 15 years of electrical design, including significant hyperscale or colocation data center work
• Licensed PE
• Medium voltage distribution and protective relaying expertise
• Redundant power system design for tiered facilities
• Proven leadership of engineering teams
• Revit and BIM proficiency
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  
  

What You'll Do

• Lead the Boston office's electrical department and its quality standards
• Mentor engineers and designers and review work before issue
• Drive electrical design on the office's largest data center projects
• Design MV distribution up to 35 kV and specify major equipment
• Develop protection and control schemes and oversee power system studies
• Act as senior client contact and engineer of record
