Illuminated Integration is looking for a Low Voltage Technician to support the installation of commercial technology systems, including security and audio/visual systems, structured cabling, and related low-voltage infrastructure.
This is a field-based position working on schools, higher education, corporate facilities, performance venues, and other commercial environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
- Assist with installation of access control systems, CCTV / video surveillance, and AV & lighting systems
- Mount devices such as cameras, readers, speakers, displays, racks, and enclosures
- Label, dress, and document cabling to company standards
- Read drawings, plans, and scopes of work
- Work alongside engineers, project managers, and other trades
- Maintain clean, professional job sites
- Support testing, checkout, and basic troubleshooting
- 1-3 years of experience in low-voltage or commercial technology installation
- Familiarity with low-voltage cabling, basic terminations and testing, and commercial job site environments
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active job sites
- Experience with access control or CCTV systems
- AV installation experience
- OSHA 10/30, lift certifications
- Network fundamentals (PoE, IP basics)
- Manufacturer or industry certifications
