Senior Program Managers shape and oversee the most complex, high-impact programs and strategic client portfolios, driving results that advance our mission and strengthen client trust. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead complex programs, including product implementation and system conversions, and strategic client portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor program performance, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Govern program execution and ensure adherence to organizational standards and methodologies.
- Partner with Account Managers to understand client objectives, oversee client portfolio, and develop client communication strategy.
- Develop strategic program roadmaps by guiding cross-functional teams to define objectives, projects, business cases, milestones, and sequencing.
- Oversee intake-to-approval process for program-level initiatives, including scoping and estimation.
- Monitor program progress, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate and resolve barriers.
- Provide accurate reporting and insights to leadership and clients on program health and outcomes.
- Drive accountability across delivery teams to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage stakeholder communication, including at the executive-level, facilitate strategy reviews, and ensure alignment throughout planning and execution.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field.
- 10 years of experience managing complex, large-scale programs with multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Proven record of delivering programs or initiatives on time and within budget.
- Ability to orchestrate, organize and drive outcomes utilizing a collaborative style.
- Experience implementing change management to support organizational transitions and adoption of new processes or systems.
- PMP, Agile or equivalent certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, e.g., ability to write detailed, understandable notes and other business documents.
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under deadline pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and project consolidation and management tools (“PPM”).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience within the insurance industry, preferably in life, health, annuity, or long-term care lines of business
The salary range for this position is $160,000-$200,000 depending on experience and qualifications
