What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family and Community Development Specialist - Head Start position at Illinois Valley Economic Development Corp.?
Illinois Valley Economic Development Corp. (IVEDC) is looking to hire a Family & Community Development Specialist for our Head Start Program.
This position will assist individuals in becoming more self-sufficient and will act as an advocate for the low-income within the community. Will be responsible for recruitment and/or completion of applications for various agency-operated programs and case management. It will be based out of our Carlinville Head Start Center.
Requirements:
- Prefer a Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field.
- Experience in case management also preferred.
- Must be able to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid Illinois driver’s license and sufficient insurance coverage.
- Willing to be fingerprinted and complete background checks/drug screen.
