Pay: $17.53 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 32-40 hours per week | School-Year

Make an impact every school day. CEFS is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Bus Driver to support our Head Start program in Pana, Illinois. In this role, you will do more than transport children—you will help create a safe, reliable start to each child’s day while supporting families and contributing to a caring, mission-driven team.

What You’ll Do
- Safely transport Head Start children in accordance with program policies and all applicable transportation regulations.
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with children, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Perform duties with a strong focus on passenger safety, vehicle safety, and compliance.
- Follow all applicable state, agency, and Head Start requirements related to bus operations, maintenance, and safe driving practices.
- Complete required transportation records and documentation accurately and on time.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a school bus driver eligibility receipt and/or hold a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements.
- Ability to meet all applicable Head Start, DCFS, agency, and State of Illinois requirements for the position.
- Ability to successfully complete required physicals, background checks, fingerprinting, and drug/alcohol testing.
