Description: Instructor in Psychology, Tenure Track, 9-Month Contract paid over 12 months, position begins with the Fall 2026 Semester.

Job Summary: IVCC anticipates filling the position for an August 2026 start. Teach and assess student learning outcomes in Psychology courses. Develop and promote curriculum designed both as transfer courses to four-year colleges/universities, and applied degree programs. In collaboration with colleagues, be responsible for ongoing curriculum evaluation and improvement within the context of IVCC's general education philosophy. Facilitate student learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities, college, and community events; and assist with student recruitment.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited college/university OR a Master's degree in a related field plus 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology required. Previous higher education teaching experience required, preferably at the community college level. Ability to teach courses in a variety of formats (In-Person, Online, and Dual Credit) and at various locations (main campus, extension campus, high school locations). Previous online teaching experience or familiarity with online pedagogy and digital accessibility preferred. Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies preferred. Experience with academic assessment and curriculum development preferred. Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college.
