- Complete monthly journal entries for financial statements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for Board of Education.
- Assist the auditors and Financial Comptroller with annual fiscal audit.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist various departments with financial data for state claims.
- Process all Accounts Payable and Payroll cancelled checks imaging requests.
- Reconcile all district monthly bank statements.
- Journalize daily banking disbursements.
- Work closely with the Executive Director of Finance on fiscal duties relating to debt.
- Responsible for processing wire requests for Financial Services.
- Maintain the cash analysis spreadsheet.
- Perform other duties and attend meetings as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of financial experience in the public sector, school district experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under strict deadlines.

- Excellent interpersonal and strong oral and written communication skills.
