Territory Sales Manager – Central & Western Illinois; Eastern Iowa

Base Salary Commission | $150K Earning Potential | Home Office

Illinois Process Equipment (IPE) is hiring an experienced Territory Sales Manager to cover Central and Western Illinois. This is a home-based role with travel, selling premium industrial pump solutions to end users and OEMs across a diverse range of industries.

About IPE:

Founded over 30 years ago and headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, IPE is a full-service distributor of industrial pumps and systems. We represent world-class brands including Grundfos, Flowserve, KSB, Peerless, Pulsafeeder, Franklin Electric, Ampco, and more.

What You'll Be Selling:

- Pumps, systems, service/repair, and energy optimization services

- Target markets: Chemical Process, Steel, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Biofuels, Power Generation, Mobility, and General Industry

Responsibilities:

- Develop and grow a defined sales territory through prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling

- Engage maintenance, reliability, engineering, and purchasing personnel at industrial facilities and OEMs

- Apply value-based selling skills to solve customer problems with the right product or service solution

- Occasional overnight travel will be required

Requirements:

- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of liquid/fluid processes (required)

- Prior experience in industrial equipment or technical sales (strongly preferred)

- Strong prospecting skills and self-motivated work style

- Must reside in the sales territory — ideal locations: Peoria, Bloomington, or Quad Cities, IL (consideration given to qualified candidates adjacent to the territory)

- Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering

Compensation & Benefits:

- Base salary commission with $150K earning potential (uncapped)

- Car allowance and full reimbursement of gas and business expenses
