What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at Illinois Iron, Inc.?
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Apply industrial coatings—such as epoxy, polyurethane, or paint—using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.
- Mix and match paints to achieve precise colors and finishes according to specifications.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray booths, compressors, and ventilation systems.
- Inspect finished work for quality, thickness, and uniformity, making adjustments as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of PPE.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
