We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our road service and towing operation in New Lenox, IL. This role is essential to our second-shift operations, coordinating technicians, communicating with customers, and handling billing and data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch road service and towing technicians efficiently
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service status, ETAs, and updates
- Maintain constant communication with technicians in the field
- Perform billing, invoicing, and accurate data entry
- Document service calls, job notes, and customer information
- Utilize dispatching, GPS, and fleet management software
- Handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Experience in dispatching, towing, or roadside service preferred
- Basic computer skills; billing or invoicing experience is a plus
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently during second shift hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in towing, fleet service, or roadside assistance
- Familiarity with dispatch or GPS tracking software
