MAINTENANCE WORKER / O&M TEAM LEADER
OLNEY CENTRAL COLLEGE | OLNEY, IL
DESCRIPTION: This full-time position performs general manual work and supervises the operations and maintenance (O&M) staff. Responsible for directing, managing, staffing, and overseeing all functions of the Campus's physical plant operations, budget, security, public safety services and assisting the President and Chief Financial Officer with direction for the Campus's construction and capital planning processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Five years of facility maintenance, or equivalent experience and two years supervisory experience preferred. Must have an understanding of use of chemicals such as pesticides. A valid class C driver's license and the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous, repetitive basis also required. Preference will be given to applicants with related work experience in grounds maintenance.
WAGES: $19.00 to $27.00 per hour, based upon relevant experience, qualifications, and education. Benefits include, but are not limited: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, vacation, and personal days; and participation in State Universities Retirement System.
