HEAD MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
FRONTIER COMMUNITY COLLEGE | FAIRFIELD, IL
DESCRIPTION: The Men's Basketball Coach is a full-time professional/non-faculty position responsible for supervising all aspects of the men's basketball program. In accordance with the IECC Athletics Staffing Model, the position is structured with approximately 70% of assigned duties devoted to coaching and athletics operations and 30% devoted to institutional responsibilities that support the mission and operational needs of the College. Responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling team competition and travel, conducting practices, supervising staff, equipment maintenance, fund raising, teaching, maintaining good public relations with the community, and ensuring compliance with NJCAA regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with college coaching experience. The position requires excellent public relations, fund raising, organization, and interpersonal skills.
WAGES: Based upon $51,827.70 - $59,601.86 per fiscal year, based upon education and experience. Benefits include, but are not limited: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, vacation, and personal days; and participation in State Universities Retirement System.
