- Under direction, serves as the Employee Screening Administrator for
planning, implementing, and evaluating DoITs background screening
and security identification badging operations, including monitoring
and verifying compliance with state, federal, and contractual
requirements.
- Implements procedures and verifies appropriate background checks are
recordkeeping and audit readiness, including retrieving, reviewing,
and interpreting background results using CHIRP and other similar
background-result retrieval databases.
- Performs the full range of highly responsible and confidential
screening functions, including administering badge operations using
the Velocity System or comparable access control platform.
- Collaborates with management on the integration of program function
opportunities for process and program improvements, including
participating as a member of DoITs Background Nexus Review
Committee, contributing to review, analysis, and decision-making
processes.
- Serves as liaison with internal partners and external agencies to
