- Under general direction, serves as a Software Asset Management (SAM)
providing specialized professional and technical advisory services
across all aspects of Software Asset Management, including the
maintenance of information for software procurements, contracts,
asset entitlements, assignments, and usage.
- Performs analysis and evaluation of supported agency software
license compliance.
- Participates in the analytical functions required to adapt,
components to develop automation of SAM functions.
- Provides guidance to lower-level professionals engaged in Client
Information Technology Software resources, and in recognizing errors
and identifying possible solutions.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology
