Position Summary

The Product Specialist plays a key role in delivering knowledgeable, compliant, and customer-focused service. This position supports daily retail operations, educates customers on cannabis products, and contributes to a welcoming and professional store environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and informed patient service on the sales floor

• Educate customers on product types, effects, usage methods, and responsible consumption

• Assist with POS transactions, returns, and loyalty program enrollment

• Maintain product knowledge and stay current on inventory and new arrivals

• Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations

• Support inventory audits, restocking, and merchandising

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant retail space

• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance patient satisfaction

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for cannabis education and wellness

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic tech tools a plus

• Must meet all legal requirements to work in a licensed medical cannabis facility

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

• Manual dexterity for handling products and operating POS systems
