About the Role
illi is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our commercial real estate portfolio with full-cycle accounting expertise. This individual will oversee financial reporting, lease and CAM interpretation, billing accuracy, and cash management while ensuring timely and accurate processing of key transactions like SODAs and reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is critical to maintaining financial accuracy and delivering insights that support property performance and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Prepare and audit financial statements

Make journal entries for acquisitions, sales, and closings

Review lease agreements and ensure accurate rent and billing

Process and approve tenant move-outs (SODAs)

Prepare CAM reconciliations

Oversee cash management and owner distributions

Assist with annual budget preparation
Qualifications

3-5 years of commercial property accounting experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and lease accounting

Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency

Experience with Appfolio and AvidXchange preferred

Ability to interpret complex lease and CAM terms

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Strong understanding of double-entry accounting principles and their application in financial reporting
All final candidates will be required to complete a bookkeeping proficiency assessment to evaluate technical accuracy and financial acumen.
Salary : $65,000 - $72,000
