The Position

A highly regarded Massachusetts law firm is seeking an experienced M&A Partner to join its Corporate & Transactional practice and play a key role in expanding the firm's capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory work, and strategic transactions.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned corporate attorney with 10–15 years of experience to join a sophisticated, entrepreneurial platform serving a diverse base of closely held businesses, founders, executives, investors, and emerging companies throughout New England.

The Corporate & Transactional department advises a broad range of closely held companies and their founders, executives, and investors. Its work encompasses approximately equal portions M&A, corporate formation and restructuring, and general outside counsel and strategic advisory matters, providing Partners with a diverse and relationship-driven practice.

Partner Profile & Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 10–15 years of sophisticated corporate and transactional law experience, preferably with substantial M&A experience.
• A strong track record leading and negotiating middle-market mergers and acquisitions, including transactions ranging from approximately $2.5 million to $50 million .
• An established portable book of business of at least $250,000, with demonstrated potential for continued growth.
• Massachusetts bar admission and established professional and client relationships throughout New England.
• Strong New England roots and a demonstrated commitment to building a long-term regional practice.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work environment, with attorneys expected to work from the office three days per week, with the days selected by the attorney, subject to the demands of the practice and client needs.
