The position:
An elite, AM ranked law firm is currently seeking a lateral associate to join their Global Finance group in Chicago. Within the role your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating transaction documents and generally leading lending transactions primarily on behalf of lender clients. The team advise underwriters, originators, issuers, arrangers, trustees and agents around the world.
The firm are seeking candidates with over two years of experience with private credit/direct lending, syndicated lending and asset-based lending. Familiarity with sponsor finance/LBO finance is preferred.
Must hold a relevant JD and be admitted to the Illinois bar.
