Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Detroit, MI, for a Private Events Sales Executive. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for private events across all IS E venues. Primary responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, managing the event sales process from inquiry to execution, coordinating with internal teams, and achieving sales targets. Frequent interaction with clients, including conducting venue tours, and the ability to develop creative event solutions to fit client needs will also be required, alongside a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills, including business development, customer relationship management, and achieving sales targets
- Experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality management
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales or event management tools
- Strategic thinking, detail orientation, and adaptability
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Availability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required for events
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of the Detroit event and entertainment market is an advantage
