Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced, bilingual (Spanish, English)Payroll Manager with staffing industry experience to oversee and manage weekly and biweekly multi-state payroll operations using the Avionté Payroll System. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, auditing, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness while supporting payroll audits and special projects.Essential FunctionsPayroll Processing & ComplianceManage full-cycle payroll using Avionté softwareEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulationsPayroll AuditingAudit payroll transactions, terminations, adjustments, and correctionsReconcile payroll settlements, taxes, healthcare, and 401(k) fundingTax Filing & Issue ResolutionEnsure timely quarterly and annual payroll tax filingsResearch and resolve tax agency notices and outstanding issuesFinancial Analysis & ReportingSupport payroll funding, variance analysis, and general ledger inquiriesPrepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsProcess Documentation & ComplianceMaintain clear payroll procedures and internal controlsEnsure ongoing compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and audit standardsContinuous Process ImprovementIdentify process inefficiencies and implement improvementsSupport system upgrades, testing, and maintenancePolicy Development & StandardizationDevelop, enhance, and standardize payroll procedures across company locationsEmployee Support & Issue ResolutionResearch and resolve payroll questions from employees and managersEnsure accurate and timely processing of expense reimbursementsConfidentiality & SecurityMaintain strict confidentiality of payroll informationOversee secure handling of sensitive employee dataExpense Management & Additional DutiesManage SAP Concur travel and expense submissions and reimbursementsProcess ACH/wire transfers as neededComplete additional duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements3–5 years of progressive payroll management experience (staffing industry preferred)Extensive knowledge of integrated payroll systemsAdvanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong understanding of HR/payroll system integrationAbility to work collaboratively across all levels of the organizationHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFluent in Spanish, speaking and readingMust pass a background checkCompany DescriptionAt iLink Business Management, we specialize in connecting top talent with exceptional opportunities.
