About the Role This position offers the opportunity to use your technical expertise in a high‑acuity environment while directly contributing to life‑saving procedures. You will perform specialized diagnostic and interventional support within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, operating a wide range of hemodynamic monitoring systems, radiographic equipment, and PACS technology. Your skills will support the diagnosis and treatment of both cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. What you'll do In this role, you will provide essential technical support to physicians, nurses, and patients throughout each procedure. You will also serve as a mentor—teaching, guiding, and supporting other technicians and clinical team members in proper procedural techniques and best practices. You’ll help ensure the Cath Lab remains safe, efficient, and well‑organized, playing a key part in maintaining standards of excellence and a smooth workflow for the entire team. What you will need: Associate degree or equivalent training through education or relevant work experience 1–2 years of Cath Lab or related clinical experience, or recent RT graduate American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification CPR certification from the American Heart Association Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license Why Loyola Medicine?
