Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: What you will do: Assist in the organization and scheduling needs of the cardiac cath lab. Oversees the day-to-day clinical aspects related to the cath lab. Communicate with Cardiologists as needed about patient care. Participates in and develops performance improvement measures. Assist in the planning of departmental budget. Responsible for financial accountability within the department. Coordinates educational classes to meet the annual competency requirements of the staff. What you will need: Licensure /Certification/ Registration: RN (Registered Nurse), RT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required. Current BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required. Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, Radiology Program or Cardiovascular Program required. Experience: Minimum of five years in Cardiac Cath Lab required, with two years in a Leadership/Management role preferred. Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
