Job Description Storeroom Coordinator This position is responsible for managing all storeroom operations, playing a critical role in supporting our plant’s success by ensuring inventory is accurate, accessible, and aligned with manufacturing and maintenance needs. Key Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain and manage storeroom inventory using the Maximo system Process requests for new items and create purchase requisitions (PRs) Coordinate with the Purchasing team to place and track orders Receive, verify, and properly document incoming materials and parts Distribute and stock inventory in designated locations Maintain appropriate stock levels, including critical spare parts Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy Audit and correct documentation discrepancies; create new records as needed Coordinate shipping and receiving activities Expedite orders with vendors as necessary to meet operational needs Build and maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency Evaluate pricing and sourcing options for restocking materials Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Reliability teams to determine optimal inventory levels Support maintenance projects by coordinating and staging required parts Assist with locating, picking, and issuing materials Additional Responsibilities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
