Job Description
The Donor Management and Relations Assistant provides essential support to the Advancement Team whose responsibilities include the development and implementation of a sustainable strategic process for the advancement and communication of prayer and financial support for IHS Global. This position strengthens the donor experience through timely receipting, acknowledgments, reporting, and personalized touchpoints, while serving as the primary point of contact for all Virtuous CRM inquiries across the ministry and overseeing all Advancement CRM systems.

, with both in-office and remote work expectations.
Responsibilities
- CRM & Data Systems (Virtuous)
- Serve as the primary contact for all Virtuous CRM inquiries across the ministry.
- Manage all Advancement CRM systems, ensuring functionality, integration, and compliance.
- Input, update, and maintain donor data with accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and manage queries, reports, tags, and automations to improve donor segmentation and analytics.
- Conduct regular data health checks and monitor compliance with iDonate, Cardpoint, and other integrations.
- Provide dashboard reports, giving trends, and insights to leadership.
Donor Management & Care
- Process gifts (checks, online, EFT, SMS) and ensure accurate/timely receipting.
- Draft and send acknowledgment letters, thank-you notes, and milestone recognitions.
- Support donor journeys, including monthly donor care, lapsed donor outreach, and automated communications.
Advancement & Communications Support
- Assist in preparing donor communications (emails, print pieces, and campaign materials).
- Coordinate with Communications Coordinator on data-driven audience lists and response tracking.
- Provide logistical support in event planning and execution.
- Manage Advancement documents electronically in Microsoft Teams and organize physical communication materials.
Reporting Relationship
Reports to the Director of Ministry Advancement.
Qualifications
- Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrates a desire to be a witness for Him in all areas of life.
- Experience with Christian nonprofits or a willingness to work in Christian ministry.
- High attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills (written and verbal).
- Professional maturity and personal integrity.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365, Teams, CRM platforms—Virtuous experience a plus).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
